Mission Statement
Special Blessings is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization for children and adults with disabilities and their families. Our goal is to educate children, families and volunteers through support group meetings and community inclusion. By providing families with information and knowledge, it will empower them to help their children grow to their fullest potential.

This site will present our organization's cause and ideas to the world. Since communicating isn't always easy, we'll try to include photos and images that convey our message. We'll also include specific information about our organization and its members, so no one forgets the people behind the pictures. We specialize and take pride in serving the under served.

To be held at: Wendell Recreation Center, 601 West 3rd. St, Wendell, NC 27591
Individuals from 5 Months to 15 years of ages are Invited to participate in the Race to Make a Difference!!!
Our Community is invited to this FREE event that will show support and raise funds that will help make a difference in the lives of the children and families that we serve.
The evening consists of Food, Fun and Entertainment...
Stop by and get your "Luau" photo taken with our "special guest"...Santa Claus! Yes. We have invited this "jolly man" to join us for our fun-filled evening, but we'll bet that you have never seen him like this before!
There will be a Barbeque Pork contest... Our community, alongside of some very special people, C.j. Mason of His Radio, NC House Rep, Darren Jackson and Wendell Mayor Timothy Hinnant will be present to help us decide who will win the 2 night/2 person stay at the Holiday Inn Express in the beautiful mountains of Cherokee, NC The Tiki Run is geared for ages 10- 15 years old. This age group will have the opportunity to participate in a Trail Run of 1.3 miles. Top 3 winners will be awarded!!! The first 100 to register for this race will receive a TIKI Torch (non flammable)
A Kid’s Dash will be held for ages 5-9. For the younger children we have the Toddler Trot, ages 1-4, and for ages 5-10 months we have the “Night Crawlers”. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in all races.
This is a Great Kids Helping Kids opportunity!!!
There will be a "Special Walk 4 Special Kids" held at 5:45 pm.
