**Special Blessings serves Children & Adults with Developmental Disabilities.***

A developmental disability occurs before the age of 22, will likely last a lifetime, and results in limitations in 3 or more of the following areas: self-care, language (hearing and speaking), ability to live independently, learning, mobility, and ability to earn a living or hold a job. Some examples of developmental disability are: Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation or Downs Syndrome

"Homeward Bound" is a Fund Raising series that has been established to help raise funding and awareness for the housing need for adults with developmental disabilities.

~~This site will present our organization's cause and ideas to the world. Since communicating isn't always easy, we'll try to include photos and images that convey our message. We'll also include specific information about our organization and its members, so no one forgets the people behind the pictures. 

We specialize and take pride in serving the underserved.

Our goal is to educate children, families

and volunteers through support group

meetings and community inclusion.

By providing families with information

and knowledge, it will empower them to

help their children grow to their fullest potential.
